Where we started
Back in 2020 when we were all isolating in our houses I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with my then three-year old which led to an idea of building a virtual game explaining energy transition.
With the support of Philip McNally, one of our talented graduates & Sabrina Mercer our UK&I Strategy head we embarked on the journey of innovation with Kickbox & Let’s Innovate SE.
Through various stages we "learnt", "unlearnt", "validated", "disproved" and pivoted our concept to built our first game.
Where we are now!
Now don't get me wrong energy transition is a very complex difficult problem and we don't want to oversimplify it with a game. However energy transition is something which we need the entire population to get behind and that's why #gamification for #energytransition seemed like a first step to get everyone’s attention.
Today with a great deal of excitement and a little bit of nervousness we are rolling out the beta version of our prototype of the energy transition game “Transition Mission 2050”. With this beta version, we have tried to explain a very complex challenge in a fun interactive game.
